Directed Infrared Countermeasure (IRCM)

Infrared countermeasure (IRCM) systems defend the host aircraft from heat-seeking attacking missiles by detecting the approaching threat and disabling it through the use of directed laser energy. IRflex is strategically positioned to develop and produce mid-infrared (2-10 µm) devices to support such critical military applications. Our mid-infrared products range from laser beam delivery systems and fiber-optic switches to fiber lasers and broadband sources.
