September 19, 2016 – The Department of the Navy has recently granted IRflex another exclusive license to use mid-infrared fiber and fiber devices to generate and/or guide mid-infrared sources over long distances (1-500 meters) in the United States.
The Government-owned invention described in U.S.Patent No. 8,710,470 entitled “Wavelength and Power Scalable Waveguiding-Based Infrared Laser System”, Navy Case No. 101,907 and any continuations, divisional or re-issues thereof.
