July 27, 2016 IRflex completed its first turnkey system HPLT-LW600: The high power tester for large window – 600mm translation, which was delivered to University of North Carolina at Charlotte, installed and tested.
The High performance 2-dimension linear motion system is built for extensive laser testing of large glass windows. The HPLT-LW600 system is specifically designed to measure Laser Induced Damage Threshold (LIDT) on rugged windows up to 12-inches (30cm) in diameter, and up to 2.5-inches (63.5mm) in thickness with high-power laser up to 2kW.
